Tech to buy your school kid
Best advice when buying PC is to buy smart. Get the most out of your hard earned money. Don’t buy into that faster processor wins, you’re buying for a kid, who will need to browse the Internet, write on a word processor, and print stuff and not to have the ultimate gaming machine. Get at least 2GB of memory, get Windows, and antivirus and if getting a desktop, get a UPS, not an AVR. The netbooks, notebooks and Desktop PCs featured here are some of the basic stuff. They’re powerful enough that you get decent mileage, yet some are at affordable price points for you to look into.
